CONA Application
This must be filled out by March 13th if you wish to be considered for selection to the CONA team. You can go to www.ymcacona.org to learn more about the Conference on National Affairs, but it is the highest level of participation in the YMCA Youth and Government program, and a huge honor for all who are selected. The selection process is anonymous and the only thing you can do to be considered is complete the application.
The conference dance theme this year will be “Childhood Characters”. Please wear APPROPRIATE attire that highlights a character you enjoyed and/or admired in childhood. No head wear of any kind will be allowed, including masks, baseball caps, or anything else that obscures the face from view. Religious or medical garments are exempt from this rule.
Dance Music:
Please feel free to make a request for music to be played at the dance. Obviously it must be appropriate and appeal to a large audience. No requests will be taken at the conference and a committee of your peers will review these selections and present a final list to the DJ. Requests must be made by March 1st.
